Fringe material is rayon chainette and is sold by the 3/4 pound spool. 

One spool should be enough to fringe one shawl, IF the holes are no closer than 1/2 inch, you put only two pieces through each hole, and cut the fringe to a length no longer than 26".

Material is NOT color fast and not recommended for children's clothing. Colors may vary slightly from dye lot to dye lot.
